Net carbs, explained simply
What net carbs are, why they matter for ketosis, and how CarbClue counts them for you.

Net carbs are the carbohydrates your body actually digests into glucose — total carbs minus fiber, and where appropriate sugar alcohols. For a ketogenic diet, net carbs are the number that matters most.
Staying under a personal net-carb limit is what keeps you in ketosis. CarbClue calculates that limit for you and tracks every meal against it, so you don't have to do the math.
“Net carbs are the one number that decides ketosis. We count them so you don't have to.”
When you log a food, we show its net carbs alongside protein and fat — color-coded and labeled — so the picture is clear at a glance, never a guess.
